Showcased here are project samples of student work in multimedia authoring (Director and HyperStudio), video editing (Premiere and After Effects), presentations (PowerPoint) and webpage development (Dreamweaver). These projects take the form of webquests, tutorials and a performance-based test.

Roger Wagner's Hyperstudio
The HyperStudio authoring program is primarily used in elementary schools. Both of these projects won awards. Periodic Trends is still available for download from the contest site. You can download it by clicking on the graphic below.

This student's portfolio was developed around the theme of the movie 'Mission Impossible'. It was created by Richard Wang, grade 11, at the International School Beijing, 1997.
 

 

 

Adobe Premiere Projects
These two projects are not available for download at this time.
 
Students learn to edit by watching a video on how three Hollywood directors interpreted a scene from the old television series 'Gunsmoke.' Students are then given the same footage the three directors used and edit the scene in both non-linear and linear formats. This students exceptional rendition of Gunsmoke included a new sound track.

TThis short video was created in an hour long Performance- Based final exam. Two students used Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects, along with blue screen technology, to show one of them holding his breath and smiling while his head floats away from his body.
