This humorous and highly engaging presentation is best for secondary school students in transition (eighth grade, high school freshman).

This was the greatest day of my life.

Dusti, I don't know how many ways EXEMPLARY can be spelled, but all would apply to your convocation address on Sunday! WOW!!! Your address was energetic, entertaining, and right on target in terms of the message you communicated. Well done!
I appreciate the time and effort you contributed to this important activity to welcome new students and their parents to the ESU family!

Academic Success Activities
Summer Camp Presenter:
Here I play 'Dr. Wiley' as an emcee hosting an academic success game show. I'll do anything to get kids engaged in learning how to learn.
In 1991, I taught a highly diverse group of Indian, Malaysian, Chinese, Sri Lankan, Australian and American teens at this camp in Malaysia. In this clip you'll see me teaching archery and study skills. As always, the goal is to have fun while learning. Notice how I start my session on note-taking. Anyone that can get an ovation from teens after just saying the word 'note-taking' has got to be somebody that you will want to hire!

As Seen On TV: Academic Success Materials
I'm being interviewed by Bob Circosta, the 'Billion-Dollar Man' from the Home Shopping Network in this interview segment for "What A Great Idea!" As Bob says, I'm the Professor of Academic Success.

Game Show Host: Fun with Academic Success

Thanks for your study skills class. Using your system, I graduated third in my class at the University of Melbourne (Australia). I didn’t care about being first or second because those students had no life. The funny thing was that your system was so easy.
--Richard Low
--Director of Operations and Monitoring Systems
--AES (Fortune 100 company, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia division)

Dr. Howell's materials for academic success stem from sound scientific research and theory. They are cleverly designed and stocked with practical advice sure to help students succeed.
